Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by two dramatic pieces-Orange Tree, a large-scale sculpture, and Making Change, Fleetwood Cadillac limousine covered in thousands of coins. From there, explore the current exhibition; dine next to BuzzKill, an immersive installation at The Hive; or get swept up in A Sudden Gust of Wind, our site-specific installation.

With more than 12,000 square feet of exhibition space seamlessly integrated into all areas of the property, there are opportunities to discover art around every corner. The historic Gray & Dudley has been re-imagined to showcase more than 10,500 square feet of exhibition space where curated exhibitions and site-specific installations reflect the global nature of contemporary culture. Our exhibitions rotate, as does our regular cultural programming. Which means there’s never a bad time to visit and see something new.

ROOMS – The Gray & Dudley Building was constructed in 1900, a time when the city of Nashville was booming much like it is today.

The 124 guest rooms and suites at 21c Nashville serve as a sanctuary from the art and activity that fills the galleries and vibrant spaces in and surrounding the property. MUSEUM – For more than a decade, 21c Louisville has been engaging visitors and locals alike with some of the world’s best contemporary art. Just look up when you arrive, and you’ll notice this ethos right away there, towering over 7th and Main street, is a double-size replica of David (inspired by Michelangelo). Once you’re inside, you can explore the current exhibition; dine next to Fallen Fruit: The Practices of Everyday Life, the vivid installation lining the walls at Proof on Main, or sleep in Asleep in the Cyclone a multicolored site-specific installation that doubles as a guest room.

Five 19th-century warehouses live on as more than 9,000 square feet of exhibition space where curated exhibitions and site-specific installations reflect the global nature of contemporary culture.
